Ledbetter hits the ground running in campaign for sheriff

Sheriff John Ledbetter has been working hard to earn the vote of the people of Jackson County. He kicked off the new year by spending a great deal of time meeting constituents, listening to concerns, and sharing successes from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.

“I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to meet so many new friends and neighbors on the campaign trail so far,” said Ledbetter. “I want everyone to know that as Sheriff, I’m committed to protecting life and property. I’ll serve as a guardian of our constitutional rights and liberties. And I’ll continue to be strategic and goal-oriented in leading the officers, first responders, and employees of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.”

Sheriff Ledbetter carried his message of service to numerous organizations, with stops at the Pascagoula Area Council and the Ocean Springs Rotary Club, among others.
